Site redesign, and callout to join our writer’s collective

Posted on September 13, 2010 by

Hullo there Blowhole readers,

The Dolphin’s Blowhole has had a bit of a redesign over the last week to make it easier to navigate and read our backstock of articles.  Hopefully all our readers will find it a useful change!

We’d also like to take this opportunity to invite any readers who are keen to get involved to join our writer’s collective – no experience is necessary, just a keeness to probe the soft underbelly of Southampton’s news and help report on the cities growing activism.  You can either write together with the rest of the team or as an individual (with a pseudonym or as yourself) reporter, or just send in the occassional article if you prefer.  Email us at if you’re interested.

The Dolphin’s Blowhole is Southampton’s only news and media source to be managed collectively and independently, and we’d welcome anyone who wants to build on our success so far!  We’re looking at producing offline content in the future, so if the internet isn’t your thing then you can get involved with that too.
